It's not always easy finding the right vehicle for your move. While friends & family mean well, they are not professionals.

Tips to Ensure a Smooth Move

ORGANIZE

Start by going through your items and deciding what you want to donate and sell. Organize things that will be packed and things that will not follow you in your move. This makes the moving process easier and more efficient.

UNIFORM BOXES

Our advice is to skip the free boxes and buy a couple sizes of uniform boxes. This will make packing and stacking the boxes easier and allow for more space in the moving truck.

LABEL

Label everything! Don’t worry about writing what is in each box, only which room it goes to. That way your moving help knows where to take it. 

FIRST-DAY BASKET

Set aside a few laundry baskets labeled “First Day, Don’t Pack” during a move. While packing this is where you will throw the things in that you will need on your first night in your new destination.
